Brilliant performance by Mari Torocsik embodying the long unfolding of the consciousness of Juni, the wife of that enterprising peasant in wood, in wine and in nothing; in fact, one could say that the last scene of Anti, shouting his wife's name, searching for her in the fog inside and outside the house, is an ideal metaphor for the mental atmosphere, for the absolutely blurred conscious state of his wife's personality that , as we saw, progressively after Andras's departure and following the death of Aunt Erzsi, they will slowly give rise to the flagrant contradiction love-hate, live-die, suffer-enjoy, and thus, suffers a combustion of stimuli from the environment and the feminine imagination (to go abroad or not, to fully love or not the husband busy in the warehouses and in the prototype wires and artifacts to undertake something that he never undertook); between the plans to love fully and accompany the husband wherever he is, between the purchase of The Great Armageddon for 52 florins for resale, between the arrival of Pista and seeing a family for the first time in a long time or perhaps contemplating and trying to ignore the empty houses next to his, of all the settlers who emigrated to improve their lives, something among all that went very wrong for his conscience and the end, slipping or throwing himself into the rocky gorge is the same, nihilism was already present being one or another, the will or unconsciousness who made the final decision.
